Attendance

  • Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of the total practical/clinical hours for each educational unit or course.
  • Exceeding a 25% absence rate without a valid excuse may result in the student being deprived of completing the unit or course and taking the final exam.
  • If a student is deprived, they are considered failed and receive a "deprived" grade. If they retake the course and pass, they receive a maximum grade of 64.9%.
  • If the absence rate exceeds 25% and the absence is excused and accepted by the relevant committee and approved by the College Council, the student's status will be 'Excused Absence', and the student will not be regarded as having failed the course.

Absence

  • If a student is absent without a valid excuse, they may receive academic warnings and may be considered failed, with relevant regulations applied.
  • If a student is absent with an excuse approved by the relevant committee and the college council, they receive an "absent with excuse" grade and are not considered failed.

Withdrawal

  • If a student withdraws without an acceptable excuse approved by the relevant committee and the college council, they receive an academic warning for each semester of withdrawal and are considered to have failed.
  • If a student withdraws with an acceptable excuse approved by the relevant committee and the college council, they may resume their studies in the next semester, with the period of absence counted as per the regulations.
  • The college may suspend a student's enrollment for a maximum of two years based on a supported request and parental consent, following specific guidelines and rules.
  • Suspension requests are subject to specific conditions and regulations approved by the college council.

Cancellation or Re-enrollment

  • The college council, based on the recommendation of the relevant committee, may approve the cancellation of a student's enrollment if the student submits a supported request with the approval of the guardian.
  • If a student applies for re-enrollment before the start of the semester, four weeks before, and in accordance with the specific enrollment conditions in the University Organization Law and its executive regulations, the college council, with the approval of the relevant committee, may re-enroll the student after presenting the case to the Education and Student Affairs Council and the University Council.
  • The deadline for applying for re-enrollment after cancellation is one academic year, and the rules applied to new students at the same academic level will be considered, with the year being counted as absence without excuse.
