Helwan University Hosts Scientific Symposium Titled:
"Interdisciplinary Horizons in Drug Discovery, Development, and Applications"

In alignment with its commitment to scientific research, the Interdisciplinary Research Center at Helwan University organized a symposium titled:
"Interdisciplinary Horizons in Drug Discovery, Development, and Applications."
The event was held under the patronage of:
Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil – President of Helwan University
Prof. Dr. Emad Mohamed Abu El-Dahab – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research
 Prof. Dr. Sahar Kamal Mohamed- Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center at Helwan University
With the supervision of:
Prof. Dr. Rasha Refai – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
Prof. Dr. Gehad Taha – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Medicine
Ass.prof. Amany Mohamed Salah El-Din, Assistant Professor of Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Medicine participated in the symposium. This event aimed at opening avenues of collaboration among researchers from various disciplines — including the faculties of Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing — to conduct applied interdisciplinary research in the field of drug development.

The symposium was held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Public Relations Hall, University President’s Building.
