Helwan University Faculty of Medicine Hosts the Annual Cultural Festival: “Basma”

Under the esteemed supervision of Professor Dr. Rasha Refai, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Samah Bastawy, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in coordination with the Youth Welfare Department and the Faculty’s Student Union, the Faculty of Medicine at Helwan University successfully organized its Annual Cultural Festival, held under the title “Basma”
This festival forms part of the larger university-wide cultural celebration, aimed at fostering creativity, engagement, and cultural awareness among students.
The event featured a diverse array of activities, including a student-led seminar, a general knowledge competition, and several creative exhibitions held in the faculty courtyard. Highlights included thematic pergolas such as Wall Journalism, Arabic Calligraphy, the Artistic Imprint exhibition, Imprint in History, and others—each reflecting the talents and passions of participating students.
The festival received high praise from the judging panel and was met with enthusiastic approval from students and attendees alike, who commended the organization and the lasting positive impact of the event.
