Helwan University Celebrates the Achievement of Its Scholars Featured in Stanford University’s List of the World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists

In a significant milestone affirming Helwan University’s leadership in scientific research, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, expressed his deep pride and appreciation for the global recognition earned by the university's faculty. A number of Helwan University scholars have been included in Stanford University’s prestigious list of the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists for the academic year 2024–2025, selected from among 160,000 scientists representing 149 countries.
This international recognition highlights the most-cited researchers across 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields. Prof. Kandil emphasized that this achievement reflects the excellence and distinction of Helwan University academics, whose continuous efforts and impactful research contributions play a vital role in advancing the global scientific community and driving sustainable development.
He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the faculty members whose names appeared in Stanford’s list, considering this success a continuation of the university’s journey in supporting scientific research and innovation.
Prof. Dr. Emad Abou El-Dahab, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, stressed that Helwan University places great importance on research, striving to create a supportive environment for researchers by encouraging international publication and collaboration with leading global universities and research centers.
