In a medical achievement reflecting Egyptian excellence in endoscopic surgery, a medical team from Badr University Hospital, affiliated with Helwan University, successfully conducted a live broadcast of a highly precise surgical procedure during the ENDO MED 2025 conference, which included participants from nine Mediterranean countries.
The surgery, which involved a laparoscopic pyloromyotomy, was completed in just 20 minutes and received widespread praise from international experts, who commended the Egyptian medical team's exceptional skill.
The procedure was carried out by Dr. Ahmed Madkour and Dr. Amr El-Fouly, with the participation of an outstanding medical team that included Dr. Nada El-Demiaty, Dr. Hamdy El-Sayed, and Dr. Amr Abdel-Azim, while Dr. Ahmed El-Tawansy handled anesthesia. This collaboration reflected the professionalism and synergy within Helwan University Hospitals.
