A Comprehensive Meeting at Helwan University Hospitals to Support Resident Doctors and Provide a Healthy Work Environment

In line with the administration’s commitment to advancing the medical system and enhancing the quality of services provided to patients, as well as fostering a healthy working environment for resident doctors, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Rasha Omar Refai, Chair of the Board of Directors of Helwan University Hospitals and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Wael Omar, Executive Director of Helwan University Hospitals, along with resident doctors from various departments.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Rasha Omar Refai emphasized her dedication to maintaining direct communication with resident doctors to ensure their well-being and confirm that a suitable working environment is provided. This includes ensuring appropriate housing and guaranteeing that work schedules and shifts do not exceed the authorized working hours, thereby safeguarding both their health and professional competence.

She also underscored the importance of ongoing collaboration and coordination among all medical and administrative personnel, reiterating that the upcoming phase will witness further decisive steps aimed at developing the hospitals and strengthening their role in serving the community.

In turn, Professor Dr. Wael Omar highlighted the executive management's commitment to supporting young doctors and listening to their suggestions, which contributes to creating an efficient work environment that ensures continuous development and excellence.
